Doing Business in Europe 2012

Since arriving in Groningen we have had some time to settle in and take in some of the sights (one of which was the FC Groningen “football” stadium). Now the real work begins!
Today was our second day of classes and I must say the topics being discussed are quite interesting. We are, of course, creating a market entry plan for a particular product under the guidance of professors Steve Crick and Jaan Kets. The concepts of market entry are many and I believe it would be safe to say we are all learning lots.
I personally enjoy the country specials which are one hour classes where we learn about what’s necessary when doing business with a particular country. So far we have covered the Netherlands, Spain, Eastern Europe and France.
Tonight we have a “pub quiz”, no one will tell us exactly what it entails, but I’m sure it will be fun!
